5.6 Discussion: Critique Statistics.
Find a visual presentation (chart, etc.) of statistical data on the Internet that you find interesting. The following website may be helpful: National Center for Health Statistics.
In the Critique Statistics discussion forum, report the statistic you found to the class (including the URL) and critique the presentation of the statistic using information contained in the How to Evaluate Statistics document, located in the Workshop Five folder by responding to the following::Describe at least one good feature of this visual display.
Describe at least one bad feature of this visual display.
How would you redraw the graph using the principles of graphical excellence?
How might the presenter either accidentally or purposely mislead the data?
What questions would you ask the presenter to determine if he/she misled the data?
How could you present the data differently and come to a different conclusion?
