The Course Project for MKTG430 is an international marketing brief and summary

The Course Project for MKTG430 is an international marketing brief and summary presentation for a product to be launched into a new foreign market. A marketing brief covers the same topics as a marketing plan but is more concise and presents topics from a strategic rather than tactical perspective. Your brief will focus on why your marketing organization is doing what it is doing, rather than the details of what it is doing and how, so strive to communicate a high-level strategic perspective with your writing.

Begin by selecting a product to use as an example throughout the brief. By using one product, the research, organization, and presentation of your recommendations will be easier. Your product can be imaginary, or a business you would be interested in starting, or an existing B2C or B2B product that is in market today. The only requirement is that the product is not currently sold in the target foreign market.

The Course Project is intentionally limited in scope by targeting only one foreign market. It’s recommended that you also approach the project on a limited scale. Although you are welcome to go big, small businesses generate the majority of international business for the United States and are by nature easier, less expensive, and less risky to establish and operate.

Each section should be about one double-spaced page in length.

Follow the prompts in the outlines below to write a paper and create a summary presentation that discusses the following topics for your product and company. You are not required to answer the topic prompts verbatim, but do use them to guide your research and presentation of findings. Below are the sections to create for each draft.
