My mission is to mentor others on my team in ways where they are empowered to negotiate for their time and propose solutions to our internal clients, instead of simply processing invoices. I want them to understand the impact of their work on the organization as a whole and leverage that knowledge to serve as consultants for our internal clients just as they are required to provide solution to our external clients.
My customer is not only our workforce that we sell for consulting and accounting purposes, but my immediate department. All personnel in my department are my customers.
My customer values prompt response and accurate work products. My teammates value responsiveness to their questions and the patience to allow them to arrive at solutions on their own.
My results are positive. I receive positive feedback on a regular basis from my colleagues and internal clients alike. My plan is to leverage my skills at teaching and coaching to create a department of subject matter experts that can propose solutions to our clients that are beneficial to them and to our own cause for clean bookkeeping and efficient billing practices.
My cultural background plays a role in that I am emulating a servant leader. I am patterning my behaviors with Christ so I may present a humble, tempered, and empathetic leadership style to everyone I encounter.
My thoughts for applying practical wisdom in these areas is to discern my clients’ expectations. Sometimes, they are simply wanting the answer provided to them because they are in a hurry. Other times, they are interested in the implications of choices they have and how that will impact their bottom line later. Additionally, I should be sensitive to those individuals in the team that are only interested in producing what they need to produce and being done for the day. Some people do not want to carve out a career, they just want to collect a paycheck and that is okay too. I should also exercise patience and not be so eager to offer opinions in certain situations where they team may be brainstorming. They should be allowed to arrive at solutions on their own without my interference.

What is your mission: My mission is to educate and motivate my followers to continuously meet and exceed the goals in meeting patients’ satisfaction.
Who is your customer: My customers are patients who trust the organization to provide superior healthcare to their health concerns. At the same time, my followers are the ones who are providing those services to the patients. No matter what their diverse background may be.
What does your customer value: My followers value fair treatment, training, and pay to provide the patients with quality care at an affordable cost while receiving the best care.
What has been your result: My results were an opener for the areas I need improvement in and a reality check. There is always a need for improvement and change. And use the positive feedback to help me create a plan that would satisfy all parties involved. At the same time, keeping an open and learning mindset so that I can make the necessary changes.
What is your plan: I plan to take the responses from my follower’s and patients’ surveys. And create a performance improvement plan for myself and my followers. That will allow me to lead my followers on the right path with the results of them providing excellent patient care.
How does your cultural background play a role: Understanding my cultural background helps with my personal growth and keeping the mindset that allows me to connect with others. I would use the connection to create an environment enabling others to use their cultural background to help the organization’s success.
