Follow the instructions for each section and use the provided template to answer each section.

1) Title of Research Proposal

Provide a brief and meaningful title for your project.
2) Introduction

The introduction section describes the basic facts and importance of the research area – What is your research area, the research motivation, and how important is it for the industry practice/knowledge advancement?
3) Problem Statement

The problem statement provides a clear and concise description of the issues that need to be addressed – What is the specific problem in that research area that you will address (e.g., lack of understanding of a subject, low performance …)? What is the study’s purpose (exploratory, explanatory, descriptive, evaluation) to help with the problem?
4) Research Question(s)

List your research question(s).
5) Literature Review Citations (10)

Provide ten (10) citations from academic journals to support your research proposal. Use 7th Ed. APA formatting. (No books, government pamphlets, law reviews, websites) Only peer-reviewed research journal articles.
6) Methodology

Research methodology defines the research methods and logic steps – Which research design (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed)? What to do and how to solve the problem and answer the research question(s)? Population? Sample? Sampling approach?
7) Data Collection

Outline the general plan for collecting the data. This may include survey administration procedures, interviews, or observation procedures.
8) Data Analysis

Specify the procedures you will use, and label them accurately (e.g., ANOVA, MANCOVA, HLM, ethnography, case study, grounded theory). If coding guidelines are to be used, describe them in reasonable detail.
Indicate briefly any analytic tools you will have available and expect to use (e.g., Ethnograph, NUDIST, AQUAD, SAS, SPSS, SYSTAT).
