i) Title and date; ii) Aim, this is usually very short (one or two sentences) and gives the reader an idea of the purpose of the lab; iii) Theory, relevant equations if any and the general theory behind the lab is presented here; iv) Materials, list all the reagents, amounts, and equipment necessary for the experiment; v) Method, here you must write exactly what you did/what was done. This must be in the past tense and in the third person so that someone who knows nothing about the lab can follow what you did and be able to repeat the experiment.
