Is it more advantageous to research at a senior level or freshmen/sophomore level?
Research requires commitment, time, and motivation. As a freshmen/sophomore, you are just starting to learn the ins and outs of your major and career. Therefore, research will take you a step further and possibly learn about more complex and advanced topics early on giving a strong foundation for future courses. In contrast, as a senior, most of the knowledge you are acquainted with. Researching will result in a deeper understanding of the specific topic that you have the curiosity to improve on. This can lead to a well-rounded professional just before graduating and entering the workforce.
