Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is for students to apply their writing skills, as well as critically think and apply the various topics and ethics discussed in this course thus far. Students will examine how technology influences society by writing a paper for an audience, further illustrating their knowledge of a particular topic.

Objectives
This midterm paper will have you look at how technology is portrayed within entertainment. I want you to choose 1 of these 3 options:
1) a movie or television show episode,
2) a novel/book/short story, or
3) a video game that illustrates a specific technology.
Avoid general technology such as: cell phones or laptops or simply VR. The more specific, the better. Imagine that I am asking you to bring this technology in as a show and tell presentation.
