Food safety is a fundamental matter when a fast food chain is linked to an outbreak of food-related disease followed by eating in the chain’s restaurants. The posterior investigation confirmed that all the infections were generated by consistent genetic samples, similar to the West Coast ones. It is more important even when the matter arises in a family chain, where dads and moms take their children to have a taco night or enjoy some barbequed meat with a hot Mexican accent. The company’s new strategy consists of making the brand more engaging, visible, and culturally relevant. At the same time, the restaurant teams are dedicated to providing an excellent guest experience with great hospitality and honest food cooked to perfection. Specifically, this will include three significant initiatives – revamping the marketing communications and plans, leveraging the second make line to grow digital sales and expand access, and engaging with the customers by launching a new loyalty program. Another difference to consider when looking into Chipotle Mexican Grill’s finances is that besides its reasonable prices, it is the only restaurant chain that is dollar-free, making them an attractive investment option. This is one of the reasons for their robust stock evaluation. The other reason is the quality of their food and the combination of more than reasonable prices and their reasonably healthy food. The restaurant consistently delivers reasonably healthy food for more than reasonable prices, a feature far from common in the United States (Chipotle Announces Growth Strategies Focused On Winning Today And Cultivating A Better Future – Jun 27, 2018, n.d.). In order to capture the market, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. has to be able to appeal to a large amount of people. The biggest competitors for Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. are Panera Bread, McDonalds, Starbucks, Wendy’s and the Yum! Brand. However, none of them could serve healthy meals with a Mexican taste (Meyer, 2018).
