Introduction —
Your Assignment series for this Ethics and Social Justice course includes three separate papers: Paper 1: The Ethical Dilemma; Paper 2: Structures, Controls, and/or Policies to Address Ethical Dilemma; and Paper 3: Implementing Ethical Decisions to Address the Ethical Dilemma. In your three papers, you are asked to serve (role play) as the person who is in leadership or in a consultant role for an actual public or nonprofit organization. It is strongly suggested that your selected organization (or perhaps a division or branch of that organization) employ between five and 300 employees. Your focus throughout will be on (a) the decision making required for an ethical dilemma you identify, and (b) social justice implications of that decision.
This week, you submit Paper 2 in which you reintroduce your organization and the ethical dilemma you addressed in Paper 1. In Paper 2, your focus will be on the structures, controls, and/or policies that address the ethical dilemma.
