Research Question: Is there one particular approach to health psychology that works better than others?

A research topic is a full concept that identifies the area of inquiry, the target audience, and the intended outcome. Each study’s first and most important stage is to precisely define the research topic. Research prospects, approaches, and the surrounding environment are all constantly changing, claim Harriss, D. J., and associates (2020). I have always longed to research about this topic and am glad that my research will help fill the gaps on the confuse=ion that has been for long on what strategies work better compared to others. This will assist me as I investigate certain psychological techniques that might encourage people to follow a diet and fitness regimen.

The first article is according to Heath, C and collegues (202), it is clear that there is little literature on treatments to enhance the psychological wellbeing of healthcare professionals during disease outbreaks; instead, it only summarizes the managerial techniques that may be used to boost workers’ resilience. This demonstrates the need for more investigation, which is why I chose the topic. According to Chow, K. M. and colleagues’ analysis of the second paper (2020), both patients and healthcare professionals displayed comparable psychological symptoms, such as worry, fear, sadness, and depression, which might result in stress-related consequences including sleeplessness. Therefore, it is necessary to do research to determine how these tactics could enhance not just the mental health of patients and medical professionals but also their sense of competence and self-efficacy in order to deliver high-quality treatment.

To examine the current procedures of athletics physiotherapists in trying to implement secondly, to look into psychological techniques used during sportsmen’ recuperation after giving up their attitudes and challenges to doing so, according to Annear, A. and colleagues (2019), was their primary aim drawing conclusions from their literature review. This indicates that there is still a gap because they just covered sports and there was a lack of study, thus my findings will have a significant influence. Past research has shown that persistent low back pain (LBP) should be treated in accordance with its structural basis and in account of biopsychosocial therapies, according to the literature review by Ikemoto, T. and colleagues (2019). There is a need for further research, and this paper will help me perform more research by providing an updated evaluation of the psychological examinations and therapies that are available for patients with persistent LBP. In conclusion, the last article will have a great impact on my research because it will assist me in understanding more approaches and what is better than the other. Salanova, M., & Ortega-Maldonado, A. (2019) claim that the article only reviewed and synthesized the PsyCap interference literature on both particular precision and wider and more comprehensive PsyCap development programs. This gives me the opportunity to delve deeper into health psychological strategies.
