Comment must be intellectual, original and meaningful.The media show advertisements and middle class women that watch the advertisements see good looking women with so call “plastic surgeries” and when the women watch the advertisements think they’re going to look good as the women on the advertisements and when they get the surgeries done there is something wrong with their body and they’re going to lose an arm or leg and the media is getting paid. The media lie to people so they can get paid money and when the media talk they don’t tell the truth about what they really want for people to do. The media industry gives programs to add on the television to show people around the world what they can do to help them work on bettering themselves, the advertisements want people to spend their money and think that the advertisement they see will help them with what they wants and need. The media want people to think that what they see on television is real but when people see the advertisement something in their brain click because they see other people with something that they need but as they buy the product they need to help them with their problems will probably not work or have what they saw from the advertisement and the advertisement sell false information to people and people don’t know until that what they had brought was messed up. The media advertisements are helpful for cleaning hard places or cleaning clothes like tide pods and when people buy them they really don’t clean all the spots out of the clothes. If you could help change the media and advertisement, what would be one thing you would most likely change and how would you do it. I like how you said social media influences society but if the society didn’t like how the media was selling lies how would you want to make a difference in your community? If you could talk to the people who sell fake information on the advertisement what would one be the topic of the discussion to help your community. The media selling the advertisement aren’t helping people because all of the money people are spending for advertisements won’t work when they buy them. What would you do if you had the power to help people stop buying products from the advertisements? Why do you think the media sells false information to the people and what do you think is their reason? As I read your discussion board I had a better understanding of what The Media Literacy is and what it has to do with people buying these advertisements. What do you think the reason is from the media to be giving out advertisements that won’t help the community with their problems and what is making these people think about doing advertisements that lie to people. What makes people that own these industries show low, middle class people these advertisements to make them buy it when it doesn’t have anything to help them. If the community was to protest against anti-advertisements, in your eyes what do you think the government would do to stop having people sell false information in the advertisement. Social media literacy wants to brainwash people by thinking the product of their saling is worth the value of people’s interest therefore they’re bribing people to spend money on these appliances that barely last for people’s concerns.
