1. Descriptions of longitudinal trends in the market
a. Long term performance trends described, including the impact of historic eventsb. Actual values correlated with percent changes?c. Different metrics correlated to each other (Supply Demand>Occupancy and Occupancy ADR >RevPAR)?2. Descriptions of different breakdowns of the market (tract, class/scale, …)a. Different geographic segments (tracts/submarkets) and non-geographic segments (scales or classes) segments of the market described and distinguished from one another
PowerPoint Slides Format:1. Main PowerPoint slide should be mostly visuals (key phrases, graphs, charts, tables, etc.). Include narrative descriptions of the main slide in bullet points in the Note page under each slide. Keep each bullet point precise yet including enough information to explain the contents of the main slide.2. Visual appeal of graphs and tables; Should be easy enough to understand the data represented. Using different colors might be necessary for these visuals to indicate different information. If the visuals are not clear, points will be deducted.3. Creativity of the presentation (graphics) – Copying the tables or figures straight out of the STAR reports does not count for your creativity and marks will be deducted when detected.4. Accurate and informative labeling of graphs and data.5. Contents effectively communicated.
6. Relevant information and data used in the analysis.
7. Quality of template (logos, market, etc.).8. Be consistent throughout the PPT for font style and size, slide format, and language style: – have a good flow, sections by different members should Not be noticeable.9. No limits on the number of Note pages.10. Include page numbers- point deduction if not included!11. Do Not Copy and Paste of any contents (especially visuals) from internet sites. This will be considered as a plagiarism.12. Include APA style citations in the context and a reference list on the last page of the report.
