Write a 2-3 page essay reflecting on where your awareness was when you first started this journey compared to where you are now.

A range: the essay is formatted correctly in either MLA or APA. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, transitions are all consistent with college level writing. The essay meets or exceeds the page count and specifically shares a story about the writer’s journey to awareness reflecting on the first 8-weeks of the semester . The writing is engaging and thoughtful and clearly shares and shows how the writer’s awareness has progressed thus far.
B range: the essay is formatted correctly with few errors in either MLA or APA. The essay has few grammar, spelling, punctuation, and transitions errors but nothing significant enough to interfere with reader’s understanding of the reflection. The essay is two full pages sharing the writer’s journey to awareness reflecting on the first 8-weeks, but lacks thoughtful engagement, understanding/structure/of progress of awareness.
C range: the essay lacks college level MLA or APA formatting. The essay has grammar, spelling, punctuation errors, and/or lacks smooth transitions. The essay is not two full pages, and/or does not clearly share the writer’s journey with awareness. Essay lacks engagement, details, and thoughtful understanding of the assignment.
D range: essay does not meet MLA or APA college level standards. Essay is full of grammar, spelling, punctuation errors, lacks transitions, does not meet page number requirement, is not overly engaging/or does not give the reader a clear story of writer’s experience practicing breathing.
